When your designs need task chair comparison expertise, you'll want a
partner who knows the market better than anyone else...KI.
ENGAGE — Arm Height
The button to adjust arm height is located underneath the armcap.
Press the button to raise or lower the arm.
The arm height should be adjusted such that your shoulders are not "hunched", but are relaxed.
ENGAGE — Arm Pivot
The armcap pivots 360 degrees. You can adjust it to the angle that best supports your task.
Or, you can turn the armcap around to prevent it from getting in your way, or in the way of your worksurface.
Simply grasp the armcap and turn it to the desired angle.
ENGAGE — Back Height
The lever to adjust back height is at the lower right side of the back.
Pull the lever outwards to raise or lower the back. Release the lever to lock the back in place.
Adjust back height such that the chair back follows the natural curve of your back.
ENGAGE — Back Lock
The lever to engage the back lock is located at the right center of the seat. There are three positions in which you can lock the back: upright – relaxed – very relaxed.
Once you are in the back position you prefer, pull up on the lever. The back will then lock in place and no longer flex.
To unlock the back, lean back slightly and then push down on the lever. You can lock the back in various positions to support different work postures.
ENGAGE — Forward Seat Tilt
The lever that allows the seat to tilt forward is located at the left front of the chair. First, lean back slightly, then lower the lever.
To return the seat to a flat position, lean back slightly, then raise the lever.
Forward seat tilt is preferred by some people when they are in a work-intensive position.
ENGAGE — Seat Depth
The button to adjust seat depth is located under the left arm.
Press up on the button and shift the seat forward or back. Release the button to lock the seat in place.
The seat depth adjustment enables the chair to accommodate people with different leg lengths. Your thighs should be comfortably supported with a slight gap between your knee and the front of the seat.
ENGAGE — Seat Height
The lever to adjust seat height is located at the right front of the chair.
To lower seat height, raise the lever while you are seated in the chair.
To raise seat height, take your weight off of the seat and then raise the lever.
Your feet should be flat on the floor and your thighs parallel to the floor.
ENGAGE — Tilt Tension
The “dial” to change the tension of the back is located at the front of the chair in the center.
Turn the dial counterclockwise to lower tension, and clockwise to increase tension.
Since the dial allows for very fine adjustments, you may need to turn the dial numerous times before feeling a change in back tension.
