To ensure compliance with Affirmative Action requirements, KI logs all applications/resumes received, and offers each individual an opportunity to identify their race and gender. The policy below outlines the application policy for employment at KI.
Individuals seeking to apply for positions at KI must comply with the following procedures:
- Applications and resumes will be accepted ONLY for open positions that are listed and posted on the KI web site (www.ki.com) and/or externally advertised recruitment sources. Unsolicited applications or resumes will not be considered.
- Applicants are encouraged to apply directly on-line through the KI web site, however, paper copies of resumes and applications will also be accepted.
- All applicants must specify the job(s), as listed on the KI web site or the advertisement, for which they are applying. Applicants who indicate “any job” on the employment application or cover letter when applying, will not be considered.
- Applicants submitting resumes for a position will still be required to complete an application during the pre-employment process, if applicable.
- Applicants who apply to KI are encouraged to complete the Voluntary Disclosure form after submitting their resume or application. Information on the form is solely used for statistical purposes under KI's Affirmative Action Policy.
- Applications and resumes for open, posted positions will be accepted until such time as the position is filled, or until the deadline application date if one is assigned. Consideration will be given to all applicants until such time as a qualified candidate has been identified and the recruitment process is moving to the offer stage.
- Applications of applicants who fail to meet the minimum qualifications for the position will not be considered.
